We are looking for Specialists and Team Members to join us in crafting a wide variety of vehicles from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to our all-electric electric vehicle, the EQS SUV and EQE SUV. Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes' luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Essential Functions: Analyze and optimize Assembly production management processes Support standardization of shop floor management systems Work directly with production management teams Assist with cross-functional problem-solving activities Support resolution of product and process-related issues Collaborate with Body Shop, Paint Shop, and supplier partners Develop and implement improvement measures Participate in process optimization initiatives Support data analysis and performance reporting Contribute to continuous improvement projects Gain exposure to automotive manufacturing operations Other regular daily tasks: Daily attendance and evaluation of Assembly Core Teams and Escalating Meetings Drive problem resolution for complex and legacy topics Support shopfloor process management Regular reporting of project and problem solving status and next steps

Qualifications: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills: Understanding of Engineering Problem Solving Basic Microsoft Computer Knowledge Understanding of Vehicle Systems and Terminology Focus on Standard Automotive Production System Power Bi trained

Preferred Start Date: March 2027

Requirements: Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's degree Studies outside of the U.S.AA minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study Available for a minimum of 6 months
