Electrical Engineer (Journey) – EV & DER Grid

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is seeking a Journey Level Electrical Engineer to support the integration of Distributed Energy Resources, with a focus on EV infrastructure deployment across SMUD’s distribution system. You will perform engineering analyses, collaborate with operations and planning teams, and contribute to projects involving solar, storage, microgrids, and bidirectional EV charging to help build a cleaner, resilient energy future for the Sacramento region.
