To support a global manufacturing innovator, the contract Remote Mechanical Engineer will oversee mechanical execution and fabrication quality, manage equipment commissioning, and serve as a technical liaison with external vendors.

Key responsibilities: Oversee mechanical execution and fabrication quality across multiple integrator sites, ensuring alignment with design intent Support development test-beds and equipment commissioning, managing installation and field issue resolution Troubleshoot complex mechanical assemblies and provide expert observations and technical escalation support

Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in equipment integration Proven experience in managing vendor builds and commissioning processes Ability to verify final equipment documentation and maintain accurate as-built records Experience in troubleshooting mechanical assemblies and providing technical support
