Travel Speech Therapist - Acute Care Hospital American Traveler seeks an Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist with Georgia licensure and BLS certification for a Level II Trauma Center hospital. Details: Inpatient Rehabilitation Services department within a 304-bed hospital Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU facility with specialty centers for pediatrics and wound care Patient caseload of 8-11 patients per therapist per day Treats orthopedics, debility, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-op, and cardiac diagnoses Performs Modified Barium Swallow tests and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEEs)EPIC EMR system used for documentation Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week No floating, weekend rotation, on-call requirements, or holiday expectations13-week schedule cycle

Requirements:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Georgia required if applicable
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
Minimum 12 months core work experience in specialty area with most recent experience within the last year
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight treating common diagnoses
Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
At least 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information:

Join a Rehab department with over 20 therapists and aides working daily alongside on-site administration
Facility-level orientation (NEO) plus 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on experience
Light grey scrubs required per approved facility list

First-time travelers will be considered for this position
Local candidates accepted with no radius rule for Georgia facilities, offering the same rate as traveling candidates
Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved if extending contract to accommodate clinical interviewing
