Registered Nurse – Freestanding Emergency Room

HealthONE is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Freestanding Emergency Room in Denver. In this fast-paced role, you’ll provide comprehensive emergency care, from triage through discharge, for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, IV starts, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and responding to critical events. You will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, using advanced technology to deliver evidence-based care. Provide high-quality nursing care in a freestanding emergency room setting, following HealthONE clinical protocols and standards. Triage and assess patients on arrival, prioritize care based on acuity, and initiate appropriate interventions. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments; monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as needed. Operate and monitor emergency room equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record in a timely manner. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care to support safe transitions. Respond rapidly to critical situations, including strokes, cardiac events, trauma, and respiratory distress, following ACLS/PALS protocols. Maintain a safe environment through infection control practices, medication safety, and adherence to hospital and regulatory policies.
