Phlebotomist II - 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 AM-3:30 PM and every other Saturday 8 AM- 12 PM.

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19119

Job Type: Local contract

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Pay Range: $24.51/Hr. to $26.27/hr.

Job Summary: Responsible for collecting blood specimens, processing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient service. Ensures accurate specimen handling while maintaining patient confidentiality and following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Perform blood draws and specimen collection on patients of all ages. Label, process, and prepare specimens for testing. Verify patient information and maintain accurate records. Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards. Provide professional and compassionate patient care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Three years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
