To support the development of innovative educational content, the remote Academic Designer will plan and create high-quality curriculum materials for secondary literacy programs, collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with educational standards and project requirements.
Key responsibilities: Planning and developing content for teacher and student materials, including lessons and resources Assisting in the creation of prototypes, guidelines, and project documentation Acting as a liaison between vendors, engineering teams, and Academic Design teams
Required qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in literacy curriculum development and educational publishing focused on grades 6-12 Teaching experience is advantageous Strong knowledge of literacy standards and pedagogical trends, particularly for English language development Expertise in digital learning tools and content development practices Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with digital authoring systems is a plus
