Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Unit: Birthing Center Labor & Delivery Location: Wichita, KS Number of Beds: 29 Staffing: Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse and 3-4 RNs Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse and 2-3 RNs Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per RN Equipment Used: Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC glucose monitoring EMR: Meditech / CPN Qualifications Minimum Requirements: 1 year of current Labor and Delivery RN experience Current BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications Preferred Qualifications: OB experience Med-surg experience GYN experience Typical Procedures Post-operative gynecological surgeries Urogynecology surgeries Management of ectopic pregnancies Care for high-risk pregnancies requiring hospitalization, including conditions such as PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, and preterm labor Fetal monitoring (NSTs) GYN oncology post-operative care Women's health med-surg Care for post-partum NICU mothers and those readmitted for post-partum complications Work Environment We are seeking healthcare professionals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care.
