Operating Room Registered Nurse

Join HCA Healthcare as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, delivering safe, evidence-based perioperative care for surgical patients. You’ll circulate and scrub for a variety of procedures, coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs, and ensure accurate documentation and sterile technique. In this PRN role, you’ll support patient assessments, implement care plans, and respond to emergencies. Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Perform and document pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control standards Administer medications and monitor patient responses during procedures Operate and monitor OR equipment and instruments safely Respond to intraoperative emergencies and changes in patient condition Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and recovery Comply with hospital, regulatory, and patient safety protocols Perioperative nursing Intraoperative patient monitoring Sterile technique and infection control Medication administration Circulating and scrubbing skills Electronic medical record documentation OR equipment operation Patient assessment and triage Interdisciplinary communication Emergency response in surgical setting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or obtained within timeframe Previous operating room or perioperative nursing experience preferred CNOR certification preferred
