Other related duties as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Paramedicine or equivalent PREFERRED EDUCATION: Graduate as Critical Care Paramedic or Flight Paramedic MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience with a High Volume EMS System (>7500 Responses per year) or Emergency Department Equivalent. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License or Certification as Paramedic (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician will not be accepted in lieu of State License or Certification). Required within one year of hire: PEPP (Pediatric Emergencies for Pre-Hospital Professionals), PHTLS (Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support), AMLS (Advanced Medical Life Support).
