What You’ll Do:
- Perform in-process and final inspectionsVerify compliance with WPS/PQR/WPQ (ASME Section IX)
- Inspect welds (VT) and support NDE (PT/MT/RT/UT)
- Review fit-up, materials, and fabrication qualityInterface with Authorized Inspector (AI)
- Complete inspection reports and turnover documentationRequirementsAWS CWI (required)3+ years in ASME fabrication or industrial pipingStrong knowledge of:
- ASME Section VIII, Section I, B31.1 or B31.3Welding and inspection practicesAbility to read drawings and weld symbolsAlso ConsideredASNT Level II/III (VT, MT, PT) in lieu of CWI (or in addition)
