This includes inspecting equipment, keeping logs current, safely moving materials and equipment on the highway, proficiently tying down loads and basic truck maintenance. This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies. Essential Duties & Job Functions: Ensure a safe work environment. Participate in CCI's STEPBACK safety program and stay compliant with online training modules in EHS. Review and comply with the various Client's safety programs. Your responsibility includes representing the Company in a professional manner at all times. Vac Truck operations!!!Assists with basic truck maintenance. Inspect equipment and write up deficiencies. This position has no supervisory duties. Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions. Drivers must be competent to drive on highways and know how to install tire chains if needed due to weather conditions. Drivers may encounter extreme driving conditions. The employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a refinery or drilling rig environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eye-wear is required in most working situations. Employee may be exposed to other hazards associated with drilling rig operations.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Class A CDL is REQUIRED; tanker and hazmat endorsements is preferred.1 year tractor/trailer experience required.
A current Cook Inlet Training Standard (CITS) health & safety card, OSHA 10 hour, or 24 hour Hazwoper (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training card is required.
A valid driver's license [class A, as outlined above] is required.
Current DOT medical card is required.
Vacuum Truck experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
Fluid Handling Experience
Loader Ops Experience:
- Kenai/Nikiski area knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to fill out and maintain log books and E-logs.
Physical Requirements
MOBILITY:
Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
VISUAL ACUITY:
Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
LIFTING:
Must be able to routinely lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 70 pounds for 20 feet.
RANGE OF MOTION:
An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.Contingencies: Offer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
