Position Overview:
We are seeking seeking multiple experienced Aircraft Mechanical Drafters to support the design and development of aircraft primary structures. These professionals will work closely with Mechanical Design Engineers to create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and assemblies using Siemens NX.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and modify 3D aircraft structural models in Siemens NXDraft mechanical aerospace components Generate detailed engineering drawings and documentation and installation Support aircraft structural design, modification, and sustainment efforts Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineers to incorporate design changes Maintain configuration control and drawing revisions Support manufacturing and integration teams with technical documentation Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards and customer requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineering 5+ YOE as a Mechanical Drafter, preferably using Siemens NX Advanced proficiency using Siemens NXAircraft design experience Experience creating engineering drawings and 3D models Understanding of aircraft structures and mechanical assemblies Experience supporting engineering design teams Ability to work remotely in a collaborative design environment
