Adjunct Faculty, Patient Care Technician

Location: WSU Tech South

Compensation: $32/hr

Essential Functions: Provide classroom and hands-on instruction related to patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures. Demonstrate proper techniques, equipment use, safety practices, and infection-control procedures. Create an engaging learning environment that supports students with varying levels of experience. Evaluate student performance through assignments, skills demonstrations, exams, and other assessments. Provide students with timely, constructive feedback to support their academic and professional development. Maintain accurate student attendance, grades, and other required records. Ensure instruction and laboratory activities align with program requirements, industry standards, and applicable healthcare practices. Promote professionalism, patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical behavior in the learning environment. Maintain current knowledge of healthcare practices, technology, and industry expectations. Perform other duties as assigned.
