Role Description:
The Office Support Administrator is a full-time, on-site role located in Brevard, NC, responsible for supporting the daily administrative operations of the radiology practice. This role includes greeting and assisting patients, answering phones, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and maintaining organized paper and electronic records. The administrator will schedule appointments, verify and update patient information, assist with insurance and billing inquiries, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow. Additional responsibilities include managing office supplies, operating basic office equipment, preparing documents and reports as needed, and helping maintain a professional, welcoming office environment.
Qualifications:
Strong Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills to support daily practice operations and record management. Proficiency with Office Equipment, including printers, scanners, copiers, and multi-line phone systems. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with patients, clinical staff, and external partners. Proven Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, patience, and professionalism in a healthcare setting. Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and practice management or scheduling software. Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, and handle confidential information responsibly. High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred. Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative approach to working with a diverse team.
