This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than maintain an established referral network. We are looking for a market builder who is excited about challenging conventional approaches to addiction treatment, educating healthcare professionals on a differentiated model of care, and developing new referral partnerships. The ideal candidate combines strong business development skills with a passion for behavioral healthcare, an ability to communicate a compelling value proposition, and the initiative to build a market for an emerging treatment offering. This individual will be instrumental in establishing HART as a trusted treatment option among healthcare providers, behavioral health organizations, community partners, and other referral sources. Market Development & Growth
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to establish HART's presence and drive patient referrals within assigned markets.
- Introduce and promote HART's innovative in-home addiction treatment model to healthcare professionals, treatment providers, and community partners.
- Identify underserved patient populations, referral opportunities, and strategic partnerships that can benefit from home-based addiction treatment.
- Build new referral channels while expanding relationships with existing behavioral health and healthcare partners.
- Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities to differentiate HART from traditional facility-based treatment programs.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine market-entry strategies, outreach initiatives, and growth opportunities. Referral Relationships & Strategic Partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, addiction treatment providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop partnerships with detoxification programs, residential treatment centers, PHP/IOP programs, and other providers to support appropriate transitions into home-based recovery.
- Educate referral partners on HART's clinical capabilities, patient eligibility, treatment pathways, and differentiated approach to recovery.
- Explore opportunities with employers, employee assistance programs, health plans, and other organizations seeking effective addiction treatment solutions.
- Become a trusted resource for referral partners by demonstrating responsiveness, clinical understanding, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Education & Market Awareness
- Serve as an ambassador for a new approach to addiction treatment, helping referral partners understand when in-home care may be an appropriate alternative or complement to traditional treatment.
- Clearly communicate HART's value proposition, including personalized treatment, privacy, family involvement, continuity of care, and integration into patients' everyday lives.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and educational discussions to referral partners and healthcare organizations.
- Represent HART at industry conferences, professional networking events, and community meetings.
- Gather market feedback and work with leadership to continually strengthen HART's positioning and outreach strategies. Sales Execution & Accountability
- Own and manage an active pipeline of referral sources and strategic accounts.
- Establish measurable account development plans and consistently execute outreach activities.
- Maintain accurate records of referral relationships, business development activities, and opportunities within the CRM.
- Partner closely with admissions, clinical, and operations teams to facilitate timely, appropriate patient referrals and seamless transitions into care.
- Monitor referral activity, admissions conversion, account productivity, and market growth opportunities.
- Meet or exceed established monthly and quarterly business development goals.
- Provide market intelligence and actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Introduce an innovative treatment model that challenges conventional approaches to addiction recovery.
- Play a direct role in building HART's presence and reputation in new markets.
- Help shape business development strategies and referral partnerships as the organization grows.
- Collaborate with a team committed to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and long-term recovery.
- Make a meaningful difference by helping individuals access treatment that better fits their lives. If you're passionate about behavioral healthcare, motivated by building something new, and excited by the opportunity to disrupt an established industry, we want to hear from you.
- 3+ years of business development, outreach, sales, or referral development experience, preferably within behavioral health, addiction treatment, or healthcare services.
- Established relationships within the local healthcare or behavioral health community strongly preferred.
- Experience developing referral networks and generating measurable patient admissions or healthcare service growth.
- Strong presentation, communication, relationship management, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize opportunities, and execute territory growth plans.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and performance reporting.
- Valid driver's license, current vehicle registration and insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned market
- High School Graduation or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, marketing, or related field preferred.
