Location: Hybrid/Remote Remote Eligibility: Candidates located more than 50 miles from a client office may work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Duration: Long-Term Contract with the possibility of extension

Pay Rate: Hourly Data Soft Technologies is hiring on behalf of one of our leading engineering clients for an experienced Telecom Designer / RCDD to support mission-critical Data Center projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly collaborative engineering team on cutting-edge telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications: Technical or Associate's degree from an accredited institution Minimum 4 years of experience designing or leading telecommunications structured cabling systems Strong knowledge of ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and NFPA 70 standards Experience with Navisworks Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills Experience responding to RFPs and RFIsExperience preparing project budgets and schedules Ability to identify and mitigate project risksRCDD certification, or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Security, Audio/Visual, and Wireless systems Electrical Engineering degree or related discipline Experience installing telecommunications systems Experience reading and analyzing telecommunications test results Experience troubleshooting installation issues

Key Responsibilities: Lead telecommunications design for Data Center projects Design structured cabling, wireless, audio/visual, and other low-voltage systems Guide BIM designers in preparing engineering drawings and documentation Develop and modify Division 27 specifications Conduct site visits and review technical documentation Respond to RFIs, submittals, and substitution requests Coordinate with project managers, clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards If you have experience with structured cabling design, RCDD, BICSI standards, and Data Center projects, we'd like to hear from you.
