You will play a vital role in receiving, sorting, and managing human blood plasma for critical production runs, keeping processes smooth through MES software, inventory controls, and strict cGMP standards. Job Summary: The position is responsible for the receiving, sorting, and storage of human blood plasma in preparation ofplasma production runs in the Teardown department. He/she will perform basic troubleshooting tasks forthe Automated Plasma Disposition System (APDS) Sorting Line. Under the direction of a Supervisor or Lead Operator, the Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for executing all processes in production, while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and other related regulationsthat could apply. He/she is expected to fully participate in both departmental projects and any qualityworking teams when applicable. He/she is expected to keep an updated record of training. Due tobusiness needs, employees may be required to work overtime and/or support operations on an alternateshift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support all local manufacturing activities in Plasma Sorting Operations Clean production area per cGMPParticipate on Continuous Improvement teams Perform plasma loading, carton opening, carton disposal, and MES functions to support APDS sortingline operations based on Teardown plasma schedule Perform cycle counts, bin diving, inventory count, and pallet spot check Segregate plasma units to be processed with an “On Hold” or “Quarantine” status Follow basic safety rules, SOPs, cGMP, work rules and company policies Complete and/or verify documentation following GDPMay perform removal of hazardous waste, if applicable The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 50lbs Skills Sorting Manufacturing Cleaning Inventory
