CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or graduate equivalent degree. Preferred 2 years experience in pharmacy field. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Perform basic math functions. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERINCE:Knowledge of medication brand and generic names. Knowledge of medical terminology. REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:MA Registered Technician License Required National Certification (PTCB) Required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, walking; at computer station or POS checkout, throughout facility and pharmacy. Operation of office machinery and Pharmacy equipment. Occasionally need to lift/move items up to 40 pounds. Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision.
