Production Support

Position Summary: As a member of the shipping and receiving department, you will be assisting production by inspecting, receiving, and distributing raw materials as necessary to meet or exceed customer expectations. You will also be responsible for crating finished product well enough to make it to the customer on time and undamaged. To accomplish this, you will be working very closely with the Shipping and Receiving Lead as well as other departments in the Organization. Responsibilities: Inspect and receive material per ASME and Omega guidelines Load and unload product or raw materials from inbound and outbound trucks Move and organize material for other departments Assist and guide others as necessary to ensure proper training and quality levels are maintained Must work as a team and contribute to each other’s success. This includes collaborating and working together, across all departments, to accomplish assigned tasks Safely operate fork lifts, cranes and all other equipment and tools applicable to the job duties Maintain high levels of quality in all tasks performed Prepare and crate finished product to customer specifications Regularly lift or move materials Ensures work areas are clean and orderly Comply with all safety rules and regulations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic blue print reading Ability to read tape measures, depth gages, micrometers and other basic measurement tools Must remain flexible and adaptable to changing situations and customer requirements Exceptional attendance and punctuality Prolonged standing, reaching, bending, hammering and lifting Ability to work with and communicate well with others Able to work off shift and overtime as necessary

Preferred Skills: Fork lift and overhead crane use Familiarity with stainless steel Strong computer skills or willingness to learn Excellent time management skills
