Crewing Coordinator Full-Time / Remote Con Com is a live production company looking to hire a Crewing Coordinator to identify, schedule, coordinate, and maintain relationships with freelance production professionals worldwide. Position Overview: The Crewing Coordinator handles staffing and crewing for Con Com’s productions. You’ll work closely with our production and operations teams to make sure each show has the right people, and that crewing details are communicated and tracked accurately. This job suits someone who’s organized and communicates well. Plans in live production change often, so you’ll need to adjust quickly.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate freelance crewing for live productions across all levels and positions Identify, contact, book, and confirm freelance production and technical personnel Maintain and continually expand Con Com’s freelance crew database and talent network Track crew availability, bookings, rates, travel requirements, and production information Prepare and distribute crew lists, confirmations, and other production information Communicate regularly with freelancers regarding requirements Work closely with Con Com’s production and operations teams to anticipate upcoming staffing needs Develop relationships with new freelance talent in markets around the world Assist with last-minute crewing changes and production needs Maintain accurate and organized records for multiple productions simultaneously Help ensure Con Com’s standards for professionalism, communication, preparation, and attention to detail are maintained on every production
Qualifications: Previous television, sports, live event, or remote production experience preferred Knowledge of television production positions, responsibilities, and crewing requirements preferred Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple productions, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously Ability to work independently while remaining closely connected with the Con Com production team Comfortable communicating with production professionals at all levels Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Workspace, and Adobe applications Resourceful and able to problem-solve quickly when production requirements change Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build long-term relationships with freelance personnel Why This Role Matters You’ll be Con Com’s main contact for the freelancers who work our shows, and the person responsible for keeping that network strong.
