Support an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinic Work alongside an Advanced Practice Provider and Surgeon, primarily supporting a hand surgeon Refer individuals to the appropriate specialist or General Practitioner when necessary Provide patient education regarding injury prevention, anatomy, body mechanics, and rehabilitation Progress athletes through rehabilitation protocols and return them functionally to a pre-injury-comparable state Room patients Check in basket Manage DME and injections Assist front desk and scheduling authorization teammate as needed Process medication refills and authorizations Order clinic medications for buy and bill Collaborate with orthopedic providers and rehabilitation specialists to deliver evidence-based care

Requirements: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institute required Completion of an accredited curriculum established by the National Association of Athletic Trainers (NATA) Board of Certification required Knowledge of the Athletic Training profession acquired through academic experience, clinical affiliations, and/or previous work experience Licensed as an Athletic Trainer through the NATA Board of Certification/applicable state Athletic Trainers Associations

Core Competencies: Demonstrates expertise in Athletic Training, including patient education, rehabilitation protocols, and collaboration with healthcare providers. Holds necessary certifications and licenses to deliver evidence-based care in an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine setting.
