Preconstruction — Atlanta

We are working with a leading general contractor looking to add an experienced Preconstruction professional to its Atlanta team. This opportunity is suited to someone with strong commercial construction experience who has worked through the full preconstruction process and is comfortable supporting complex, large-scale projects from early planning through handoff to operations. What You'll Be Doing• Lead and support preconstruction activities from concept through construction• Develop conceptual estimates and detailed budgets• Manage subcontractor outreach, bid packages and scope reviews• Perform constructability reviews and value engineering• Support design development and cost planning• Work closely with owners, architects, engineers and project teams• Assist with procurement strategy and project handoff to operations What We're Looking For• Commercial construction preconstruction or estimating experience• General contractor experience strongly preferred• Experience working on large or complex commercial projects• Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting and subcontractor markets• Ability to review drawings and identify scope, cost and constructability issues• Strong communication and client-facing skills Experience with a large regional or national general contractor would be particularly relevant.
