Sensor System Validation Engineer Our client, a leader in innovative sensor technology and autonomous vehicle solutions, is seeking a Sensor System Validation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Sensor System Validation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting the development and validation of next-generation sensor systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job? Contribute to sensor systems (lidar / camera / radar) verification and validation (V&V) activities for cutting-edge vehicle platforms. Collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, and hardware specialists to develop and refine V&V methodologies for advanced sensor architectures. Design and execute comprehensive test plans in simulation environments to verify sensing system requirements and validate overall system performance. Translate bounding scenario requirements into actionable data mining plans and execute these plans to generate validation datasets. Integrate and orchestrate software pipelines to convert raw sensor data into meaningful system-level KPIs, ensuring accuracy and reliability. What's Needed? A Ph.D. degree in a relevant field or a master's degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience in sensor or perception systems development and testing. Familiarity with at least one sensor modality: camera, lidar, or radar. Experience with data mining tools and languages such as SQL, PySpark, Scala, or similar. Proficiency in analyzing data using high-level programming languages like Python, Matlab, or C++.Strong communication skills and experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
