Schedule: 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM 5:00 PM) or 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
One weeknight call and one weekend day call per call week Clinic hours typically 9:00 AM 3:30 PMRounds required prior to clinic Practice Details: Adult patient population Support team includes 6 Neurosurgeons, 1 RN, and 4 Medical AssistantsEMR: Epic Inpatient and acute care setting Procedures Include: Diagnostic and therapeutic taps SuturingEVD placement Lumbar drains and lumbar puncturesICP monitor placement Complex wound surgical care
Requirements:
  • Board Certified NeurosurgeryActive South Carolina license
  • Clean backgroundCredentialing: daysLicensing assistance available
  • Columbia, SC

Assignment Length: 38 Weeks
Schedule:
  • Inpatient Neurosurgery coverage12-hour shifts
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM 6:00 PMNight Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AMNights and weekends available
  • No call required
  • Practice Details:
  • Hospital-based inpatient setting
Patient population: 90% adults, 10% pediatricsEMR: Epic
Experience & Skills:
  • Inpatient/Acute Care experience
  • Emergency Department experience
  • Surgical care experience required
  • Pediatrics experience preferred but not required
Requirements:
  • Board Certified NeurosurgeryActive South Carolina licenseBLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS requiredDEA required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Clean backgroundCredentialing: daysLicensing assistance available
