This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a strategic marketing professional who can balance day-to-day property marketing with the vision and execution required to support significant future growth and expansion. The ideal candidate will come from a casino/gaming marketing background, preferably within a competitive regional market and a mid-scale property. This individual should be comfortable challenging the status quo, pivoting quickly, taking calculated risks, and developing innovative strategies that increase guest engagement, trip frequency, revenue, and market share. This is not a maintenance-oriented marketing role. The Director will help shape the property's marketing evolution, including the strategy and planning associated with a significant future build-out and new property footprint. The Director will report to the General Manager and maintain a dotted-line relationship with the VP of Marketing for Gaming.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive property marketing plan across annual, quarterly, and monthly planning cycles, aligned with revenue, trip-frequency, market-share, and overall property performance goals.
Lead the strategic direction and execution of omnichannel marketing, including digital, social, print, media, public relations, promotions, community relations, giveaways, sponsorships, and other guest-facing initiatives.
Develop marketing strategies that reflect the property's competitive regional market and resonate with the local guest base.
Oversee loyalty program positioning, benefits, segmentation, and lifecycle communications to drive engagement, retention, and incremental visitation.
Lead Player Development, including host strategy and sales programs designed to strengthen relationships with key players and drive revenue.
Own performance marketing and social content strategy, leveraging data and performance metrics to continuously optimize results.
Utilize property performance data and market insights to identify opportunities, measure effectiveness, and make informed marketing decisions.
Ensure all promotions and marketing initiatives comply with applicable state Lottery Commission regulations, MICs, gaming regulations, and responsible-gaming standards.
Serve as the company's marketing contact with the applicable state gaming commission, including coordinating approvals for marketing initiatives as required.
Partner closely with the General Manager, Gaming Marketing leadership, operations, Player Development, and other cross-functional teams to align marketing strategy with overall business objectives.
Help develop and execute the marketing strategy associated with the property's planned growth, build-out, transition, and future footprint.
Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain a high-performing marketing team while establishing clear accountability and performance expectations.
Support and develop existing marketing leadership, helping refine talent and elevate the team's strategic capabilities.
Create a positive, high-energy team environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, calculated risk-taking, and continuous improvement.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by the General Manager and VP of Marketing.

Strong understanding of omnichannel guest engagement, loyalty strategies, Player Development, and data-driven marketing.
Experience navigating gaming regulations and regulatory approval processes.
Strong understanding of property performance metrics and the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and build strong partnerships across a property.
Strong communicator with the ability to respond appropriately to guest complaints, de-escalate emotionally charged situations, and maintain guest goodwill and respect.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with concurrent deadlines and competing priorities.
Strong people leadership skills with a track record of developing and retaining talent.
High-energy, positive leadership style with the ability to inspire teams and drive change.
Comfortable challenging the status quo, pivoting quickly, and taking calculated risks to grow the business.
Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and the ability to develop messaging that resonates with the property's guest base.
