Mergers and Acquisitions and Energy Transactional Associate

Duties: Assist in structuring, financing, negotiating, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements and ancillary closing documents. Advise legal and business teams from deal inception through closing. Support energy-related transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of power assets. Conduct due diligence and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in corporate transactions, preferably in a national law firm. Excellent writing and drafting skills with experience in transaction documents. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in the energy industry is beneficial but not required. Admission to the relevant state bar or eligibility for admission. Willingness to work with innovative technology platforms. Education J.D. from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.

Certifications: Admission to the relevant state bar. Skills Strong drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to interact with and advise legal and business teams. Proficiency in using technology platforms for legal work.
