Dispatcher - Ambulance - Full Time

Facility: Fa Sanford Ambulance Location: Fargo, ND Address: 2215 18th St S, Fargo, ND 58103, USA Shift: Varies Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 42.00 Salary Range: $23.13 - $37.83 Pay Info: Eligible for new hire sign-on bonus! Union Position: YesJob Summary Responsible for receiving requests for ground medical transport, initiating the mobilization of the appropriate teams, communicating with referring hospitals/services, map reading, math skills and documentation. Perform data entry using the computer and typing any other documentation as assigned. Remain flexible for staffing patterns, maintain a sense of pride and ownership for the program, perform data entry at the time of call, work with people in phone conversations involving pediatric to geriatric ages of patients.

Qualifications: Must fulfill yearly continuing education requirements of the department. Must complete orientation for various procedures and other in-service as required. International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED) - Certified Dispatcher required within six months from date of hire. Dependent on location: -may require a valid driver's license with a good driving record -must be 18 years or older (additional approval for those under 21 years old)
