Join a dynamic public behavioral health system in Fresno, California, as a Locum Tenens Psychiatrist delivering comprehensive outpatient care via telehealth. This rewarding opportunity focuses on providing mental health services to an adult population in a county-based organization. Clinicians will work full-time weekday shifts while engaging in meaningful diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Shift hours: Full time (40 hours)
Responsibilities:
  • Provide full-time outpatient psychiatric services via telehealth for an adult population
  • Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations (60-90 minutes per evaluation)
  • Provide medication management follow-up appointments (30 minutes per visit) for adults and older adults presenting with community mental health and behavioral health conditions
Qualifications:
  • Board certification required: Negotiable
  • Clinicians must demonstrate proficiency with technology and possess prior telehealth experience in a county behavioral health setting
  • A minimum 6-month commitment is required to start
