Director of Regulatory Compliance

The Opportunity: A fast-growing payments company is looking for a Regulatory / Compliance professional to strengthen its compliance function. This is a brand-new role, created by company and team growth. You will help the business operate safely in higher-risk areas of payments and take real ownership of regulatory priorities.

Key Responsibilities: Advise on regulatory requirements for payments products and customer types. Support compliance across higher-risk merchant and customer segments. Review and improve policies, procedures and controls. Partner with Product, Risk, Underwriting and Legal teams. Track regulatory changes and flag what matters to the business.

Ideal Background: Background in online gaming or high-risk payments. Experience in CBD or predictive markets also of interest. Strong working knowledge of payments regulation and compliance. Takes ownership and works well independently as an individual contributor. Practical communicator who works well across teams.
