Prepares supplemental timetables and work programs for temporary Subway route diversions and special events. Analyzes and evaluates ridership data on subway operations.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required, major fields of study: Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Planning or Transportation Planning or a closely related field with 2 years of related experience of which 1 year must be in a supervisory/management/administrative capacity orA satisfactory equivalent of education and experience
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of the routes and operating practices of the subway networks that comprise the NYC Transit system. Knowledge of MTA NYCT rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Experience in schedule making related to subway operations. Knowledge of automated scheduling data processing systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills. Selection Method: Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, interview, and written assessment. All selected candidates will be subject to a full background investigation that includes employment and education. Discrepancies may lead to dismissal.

Appointment may be at a comparable level to current level of selected candidate. (If necessary) As an employee of MTA NYC Transit, you may be required to complete an annual financial disclosure statement with the state of New York, if your position earns more than $101,379 (this is subject to change) per year or if the position is designated as a policy maker. Final salary is determined by experience, skillset, and alignment with compensation practices. The posted range reflects expected compensation and may be updated as market or business needs evolve.
