Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation Associate to join their team in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will engage in complex data privacy and security litigation, arbitrations, and regulatory investigations.
Duties:
Engage in privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection litigation in state and federal courts.
Defend claims under statutes such as CCPA/CPRA, TCPA, CIPA/ECPA, CMIA, CEMA, COPPA, BIPA, and/or FCRA.
Participate in regulatory investigations or enforcement actions.
Respond to security incidents and manage related legal matters.
Collaborate directly with clients and manage fast‑paced cases with multiple stakeholders.
Requirements:
2–4 years of relevant litigation experience.
Admitted to and in good standing with the California bar.
Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
California bar admission.
Skills Strong aptitude for technology and understanding of technological processes.
