Patent Attorney Mechanical Arts

Duties: Draft and prosecute U.S. and foreign patent applications in mechanical engineering. Review and draft intellectual property and technology-related agreements and licenses. Provide patentability, freedom to operate, and due diligence assessments.

Requirements: 7+ years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution in the mechanical arts. Licensed to practice law in Colorado. U.S. Patent & Trademark Office registration. Education Juris Doctor, higher degree, or equivalent in Law. Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar.

Certifications: U.S. Patent & Trademark Office registration. Skills Excellent research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task efficiently. Independent thinker with excellent academic credentials.
