Surgical Joint Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner Orthonc is seeking a part-time physician assistant (pa) or nurse practitioner (np) to join our growing advanced practice provider team, working alongside a joint surgeon in a collaborative, high-volume orthopedic practice. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional care to both operative and non-operative patients across inpatient and outpatient settings while growing your clinical and surgical experience.
What you'll do:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in both clinical and surgical settings
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, fellow apps, and the broader clinical team
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients independently and under physician supervision
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging, including x-rays, mri's, and ct scans
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations
  • Gain hands-on experience treating both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions
What we're looking for:
  • Licensed and board-certified pa or np in north carolina
  • Orthopedic or neurology experience preferred; motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and adapt quickly
