Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting regulations. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management. Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards and KPIs. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process. Prepare rolling forecasts and financial models. Monitor budget performance and investigate variances. Support business units with financial planning and analysis. Internal Controls & Compliance Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures. Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships. Implement financial policies and best practices. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital. Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements. Oversee cash forecasting and optimize cash management strategies. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff. Establish performance objectives and development plans. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Business Partnership Support senior leadership with strategic financial analysis. Evaluate investments, acquisitions, and growth opportunities. Provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Previous leadership or management experience preferred.

Required Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills. Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).Advanced Excel and financial reporting tools proficiency. Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent leadership and project management abilities. High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
