Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our team in managing and maintaining our large-scale enterprise network. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for performing L2 network troubleshooting, network device installs, network cabling, network device, and cable decommissions and conducting network audits. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to ensure seamless network operations and provide critical support to maintain the efficiency and security of our network infrastructure. Responsibilities: 1. L2 Network Troubleshooting:· Analyze and resolve L2 network issues, such as network connectivity, performance, and configuration problems.· Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and rectify network anomalies promptly.2. Network Device Installs:· Install, configure, and deploy network devices, including switches, routers, and access points, according to established guidelines and best practices.· Ensure proper integration of new devices into the existing network architecture.3. Network Cabling:· Plan, install, and maintain network cabling infrastructure, including copper and fiber optic cables.· Verify cable integrity and adherence to industry standards for efficient data transmission.4. Network Device and Cable Decommissions:· Safely decommission and remove outdated or malfunctioning network devices and cables.· Document the decommissioning process and update network documentation accordingly.5. Network Audits:· Conduct periodic network audits to assess performance, security, and compliance with company policies and industry standards.· Generate detailed reports and recommend improvements based on audit findings.6. Team Collaboration:· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network architects, system administrators, and security specialists, to address network-related requirements and challenges.· Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to team initiatives.

Compensation: $30/hr to $40/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
