Jr DevSecOps Engineer

What You'll Do: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Support AWS environments, Docker containers, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Cloud Formation. Write Python scripts to automate operational processes. Integrate security scanning, vulnerability management, and policy controls into delivery pipelines. Support NIST SP 800-53 compliance activities and automated evidence collection. Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding and testing while validating their output. Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with senior engineers. What You'll Bring 1+ years of experience in software development, platform engineering, or operations engineering. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related discipline. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipeline tools. Python scripting skills; Bash or PowerShell experience is a plus. Foundational knowledge of Linux, networking, APIs, and web applications. Exposure to Docker, AWS, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code. Understanding of cloud security and secure software development. Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred: Federal IT experience, familiarity with ATO, NIST SP 800-53 or FISMA, AWS certifications, and security tools such as SAST, DAST, or policy-as-code.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with onsite frequency varying by assignment. Eligibility: U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust determination required for the initial engagement.
