About the Role: Cromwell Energy in Cromwell, CT is looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join their growing team. Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
  • Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts inventory
  • Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage daily service calls efficiently
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation and/or serviceB2, D2 or S2 License requiredEPA 608 Certification requiredCDL license with Hazmat a plus
  • Strong knowledge of heating(Oil/NG/LP/Heat Pumps), cooling, and refrigeration systems
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, customer-friendly demeanor with strong communication skills
