Equipment Assembler Job at SCIENTEMP CORP in Adrian

Job Description: Scientemp Corp. is seeking a dependable, quality-driven Refrigeration Equipment Assembler / Technician to help build commercial and industrial freezer equipment. This hands-on position includes mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, installation of refrigeration components, and brazing, with in house training available.

• Assemble freezer cabinets and refrigeration systems from drawings and written work instructions.
• Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, controls, doors, hardware, and other components.
• Perform basic electrical assembly, including mounting components, routing wires, and making connections according to drawings.
• Cut, fit, and braze copper refrigeration tubing; training will be provided as needed.
• Measure, drill, fasten, and fit components using common hand and power tools.
• Inspect completed work for proper fit, operation, and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and assist with other shop activities as needed.
