The ideal candidate has the primary responsibility of instruction in the classroom, clinical, and lab setting while planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating Nursing curriculum. This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma Statute OKLA. STAT. tit. 63, § 427.8 (2020).
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing required.
Hold a valid, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
Evidence of current practice with a minimum of two years full-time equivalent as an RN in a clinical setting preceding employment as a teacher.
Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.
Preferred Qualifications: Prefer teaching experience at the community college or university level.
