Hybrid Attorney (Insurance Defense/Premises Liability)

Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of approximately 40-60 active litigation matters, primarily involving personal injury and premises liability. Represent insurance carriers, businesses, and other clients in civil litigation and insurance defense matters. Handle cases throughout various stages of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, motions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, legal briefs, and other litigation-related documents. Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies in collaboration with partners and the litigation team. Qualifications Active Texas Bar license in good standing At least 1 year of insurance defense experience; 2 years of insurance defense experience is preferred. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and case management skills. Experience handling insurance defense or general liability defense or premises liability or personal injury defense matters. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 - $180,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
