Key responsibilities:
Manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and offboarding.
Oversee benefits administration, open enrollment and HR operations.
Lead performance reviews and support compensation planning.
Guide managers through sensitive employee matters.
Maintain policies and ensure compliance with New Jersey and federal employment requirements.
Ideal background:
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years as an HR Manager or lead generalist.
Strong working knowledge of New Jersey employment law.
Hands-on experience with benefits, performance management, compensation and employee relations.
Excellent judgment, discretion and communication skills.
Professional services experience and HR certification are a plus.
