This is a critical role requiring expertise in electronics inspection and familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards. This flexible, part-time role is an excellent opportunity for retirees with extensive electronics inspection experience who are looking to stay engaged and make a meaningful contribution to the aerospace and defense industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies, focusing on printed boards.
Review and verify parts against engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
Document and report inspection results (accept/reject) directly to the customer using web applications or Microsoft Office tools.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in electronics inspection, specifically with printed boards, in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
Certifications
Required: IPC-600 Certification
Comprehensive knowledge of electronics and defense requirements. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in reporting inspection results.
