Field Service Technician

Job Description: Responsibilities: Perform major mechanical engine repairs. The ability to overhaul an engine if needed. Perform transmission repairs up to and including rebuilds if necessary. Perform driveline repairs including undercarriage rebuilds. Strong understanding of various trucks and be able to make complicated repairs and modifications as needed. Strong understanding of complicated electrical and hydraulic systems and mastery of both electrical and hydraulic schematics. Build and retrofit hydraulic systems for various equipment. Plan and complete major fabrication projects (water systems, structural, specifically designed field use equipment as needed). Strong skills in fabrication with the ability to think outside the box to make and design a product for field use without a template. Build and install electrical systems including emergency shutdowns and new controls on various equipment.
