Legal Intern (Summer 2027)

ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Legal Intern, you will work directly with IGS attorneys and paralegals on projects that support daily operations and long-term business initiatives. You will gain valuable exposure to the inner workings of a corporate legal department while contributing to meaningful work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO: Conduct legal research: Perform basic legal research and analysis to support legal matters and business needs. Draft legal documents: Assist in preparing and revising legal documents and written materials. Maintain legal records: File, organize, and manage legal documentation. Review content for accuracy: Edit documents and perform fact-checking activities. Support daily operations: Complete administrative tasks and assist the in-house legal team with ongoing priorities. WHAT YOU WILL GAIN Hands‑on experience in a corporate legal department Exposure to attorneys, paralegals, and in‑house legal operations Experience with legal research, analysis, drafting, and document management Opportunities to strengthen writing, communication, and professional judgment

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Currently pursuing a law degree from an accredited law school, preferably a 1L or 2L student Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research databases Excellent reading, writing, and grammatical skills Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment At IGS Energy, you will do more than intern, you will make an impact. Salary Range: $31,200.00 - $62,400.00 *This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
