Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an OSHA Associate to join their team in Reston, VA. The successful candidate will support and guide clients on workplace safety and health compliance requirements for OSHA regulations and manage other labor and employment matters as needed.
Duties:
Support and guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety compliance. Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues. Develop relationships with regulatory agencies and influence policy development. Handle litigation related to workplace safety and discrimination matters. Represent clients in negotiations and mediations. Provide crisis management for workplace safety and health issues.
Requirements:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials. 3+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required. Class action or public sector experience is a plus. Admitted to practice law in the State Bar of the Associate's primary office. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.)
Certifications:
Admitted to State Bar Skills Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment.
