Job Title Occupational Therapist Location Lutz, FL / Tampa Palms, FL | Outpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | Split Location Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Manage a full hand therapy caseload, including outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy cases; fabricate and fit splints as clinically indicated Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, learning objectives, and student evaluations Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements Required Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Florida in good standing Demonstrated hand therapy experience, including comfort with a full hand caseload Splint fabrication skills required Experience in outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy settings Ability to work across a split location (two outpatient sites) Preferred Experience / Skills Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred Experience with functional quality indicator assessments and letters of medical necessity Active involvement in professional development, continuing education, and professional organizations Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a specialized outpatient hand therapy environment with a focused, clinically rich caseload Supportive setting that encourages individualized professional development and ongoing clinical growth Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 789275.
