Salary: $190,000 to $220,000 annually
A respected litigation firm in Miami is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a mix of business and commercial disputes, product liability matters, and other complex civil litigation. The ideal candidate is a motivated attorney who enjoys hands‐on case work, courtroom exposure, and collaborating with experienced trial lawyers.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of business litigation and product liability matters
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
- Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and case management conferences
- Manage discovery, including document review, analysis, and strategy
- Work directly with clients, insurers, and experts
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness outlines, and case strategy
- Research complex legal issues and collaborate with partners on case development
- Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines across multiple matters
- Qualifications3–6 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Background in business litigation or product liability required
- Experience attending hearings and taking depositions
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Superior academic credentials
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Florida Bar admission required
