Financial Analyst (6224)

Responsibilities: Process financial documents and transactions using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)Review accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars Identify corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds Review and analyze annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures

Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance Minimum 3 years of experience reviewing and analyzing annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures Minimum 3 years of experience in budget execution during a fiscal year budget cycle Minimum 3 years of experience in preparing and presenting a status of funds for higher-level management Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications: Previous Federal Government support

Clearance Level Required: Public Trust to Top Secret Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements. Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.
