CNC Machinist – Setup / Operator Clearwater, FL | First Shift | $21+/ hour, based on experience We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts. This role requires hands-on machining experience, blueprint reading, troubleshooting skills, and close attention to quality and tolerances.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills according to blueprints and specifications.
Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workholding; perform tool changes and set offsets.
Adjust machine offsets and cutting parameters to maintain dimensional accuracy.
Read engineering drawings, work instructions, and machining specifications.
Inspect in-process and finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and machine performance.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications:

Hands-on CNC machining experience is required.
Experience setting up and operating both CNC lathes and mills is strongly preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and verify dimensions and tolerances.
Ability to work independently while meeting production schedules and quality standards.

Schedule: First shift, starting at 7–8 AM and ending at 4 PM.
